Ralf Mikk and Mārcis Mednis Win OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Titles
2026 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Spring Edition

Thursday witnessed two more trophies awarded at the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Spring Edition at Olympic Voodoo Casino, while the €1,100 Main Event played out its final two opening flights.

Estonia’s Ralf Mikk won the €250 NLH for €2,921 after defeating Latvia’s Andrejs Nozdrins heads-up. Latvia’s Mārcis Mednis defeated his country-mate Kaspars Mamons heads-up in the €250 NLH Progressive Bounty to earn the trophy, the €1,895 top prize, and a huge haul of bounties.

Meanwhile, the €1,100 Main Event roared on, with the three opening flights attracting 139 entries, adding €132,050 to the prize pool. More players plan to enter and re-enter during the first two blind levels of Friday’s Day 2, while late registration remains open.

Three Lithuanians sit on top of the leaderboard entering Day 2, including Justas Vaičiulionis (248,000), Artūras Kesleris (213,000), and Darius Narmontas (167,500).

The poker.pro live reporting, headlined by Richard Hayes, will begin at Noon when cards are in the air for the final day of Day 1b of the €1,100 Main Event.

The €250 NLH attracted 39 entries, creating a €8,151 prize pool. Finland’s Vaino Ketvell was aiming to complete the Baltic trophy trifecta after previously shipping titles in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius and the Estonian capital of Tallinn. Although he made the podium with a third-place performance worth €1,460, he will have to try again if he wishes to bring home a trophy this festival.

Ralf Mikk then went on to defeat Latvai’s Andrejs Nozdrins (second – €2,040) after Ketvell’s demise to win the €2,921 top prize and will bring a coveted OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo trophy back home to his country to the north.

The €250 NLH Progressive Bounty was the final event on Thursday, with 70 entries creating €14,630, including €7,000 reserved for bounties.

The trophy was guaranteed to stay home after Sweden’s Kristoffer Winterstein (fifth – €620 + bounties) lost his stack. Latvia’s Ivars Gross (third – €1,230 + bounties) and Dāvis Modāns (fourth – €850) plus bounties followed Winterstein to the rail, leaving Mārcis Mednis and Kaspars Mamons heads-up for the title and national pride with the top prize of €1,895 already locked up for both players.

Mednis earned the trophy and the big bounty, the bragging rights, and the big trophy at the end after defeating his countrymate Mamons to end the tournament action on Thursday evening.
