A record-setting Mini Main Event and a high-profile appearance by Estonia’s own high-stakes legend turned Saturday into a showcase day at the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, powered by OlyBet Poker, as the festival’s first ring event entered its decisive stages and multiple side titles were decided at Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Tallinn Park.

The €350 Mini Main Event shattered the series’ local attendance record, drawing 1,162 entries to create a €342,209 prize pool, the largest in the event’s history. With 175 players returning to the felt, Finland’s Ville Mesiranta carried a massive 1,465,000-chip stack into Day 2 play, while a deep and international field, including several Estonian contenders, chased the top prize.

Off the felt, Vladimir “Gambledore” Korzinin, the Estonian businessman who became a poker sensation with his legendary Triton performances in 2024, made a surprise appearance, firing multiple bullets in the €200 Deep Stack before eventually tossing in the towel during late registration. Meanwhile, five side events crowned winners: Finland’s Riku Koivurinne went back-to-back in the €350 Open-Face Chinese Pineapple, Finland’s Jari Kurikka took down the €555 PLO4/PLO5 for €9,770 as the largest single prize of the day, Estonia’s Ralf Mikk won the €555 6-Handed in an all-Estonian heads-up, Norway’s Tarjei Forus claimed the €350 PLO5/PLO5 Hi-Lo, and Latvia’s Toms Civcs closed out the €200 NLH Deep Stack.

With momentum peaking mid-festival and eyes firmly on the record-breaking Mini Main, Saturday cemented Tallinn’s status as a key stop on the WSOP International Circuit.

Riku Koivurinne Goes Back-to-Back in €350 Open-Face Chinese Pineapple

Finland’s Riku Koivurinne has become a legend among Open-Face Chinese players and has now gone back-to-back in the €350 Open-Face Chinese Pineapple at WSOP Circuit Tallinn.

During the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, Koivurinne defeated Germany’s Fabian Bartuschk heads-up to claim the trophy and the €5,140 top prize. He shipped the same event again on Saturday, defeating Norway’s Vidar Assersen heads-up to add another trophy to his collection along with a €5,476 payout.

The €350 Open-Face Chinese Pineapple attracted 57 runners for a €16,786 prize pool with the top eight players in the money.

Ralf Mikk Wins €555 NLH 6-Handed

The €555 NLH 6-Handed witnessed 35 entries battle it out for a €16,625 prize pool. It was an all-Estonian heads-up affair before Ralf Mikk defeated Tony Tammiruusu to win the trophy and the €5,943 top prize.

This was Mikk’s first trophy in Tallinn recorded at The Hendon Mob, but he has a rare trifecta in place, having won the €250 NLH at the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Spring Edition for €2,921. He now only needs a trophy in Lithuania’s capital of Vilnius during an international festival to complete the 2026 Baltic capital trophy collection.

Gambledore may have grabbed the early headlines in the €200 NLH Deep Stack, firing several bullets before eventually tossing in the towel during late registration. But as the tournament moved on, it grew into a competitive battle with a story of its own.

The final three players agreed to a deal before Latvia’s Toms Civcs came out on top with the trophy and a €4,544 payday. Estonia’s Arnis Mednis and Ukraine’s Aleksander Lapin both fared well with a €3,444 payout each thanks to the deal.
