Team Standings

Team Competition

Team Registration

2% of all Kings of Tallinn 2025 prize pools, from tournaments with a minimum of 12 unique participants, will go into a Team Challenge prize pool. Satellites, online events, and the Ladies NLH are excluded.

Players form teams of four people and automatically collect points for their teams when entering and cashing in any Kings of Tallinn 2025 Live Team Ranking Tournaments.

The Team Competition is free to enter.

Team registration closes on Friday, 28th of February at 16:30 local time.

Please note that in order to receive points for a ranking event, the team must be registered before the respective event starts, with the exception of the Kings of Tallinn Main Event, where team registration will close on Friday, 28th of February at 16:30 local time.

By completing this form you agree with the GDPR terms and conditions.

All four team members must play a minimum of one Kings of Tallinn 2025 ranking event.

The points of all four team members will be summed up, and the team with the most points will be announced as winners of the Kings of Tallinn 2025 Team Challenge.

The winning team will be declared after the final Kings of Tallinn 2025 ranking tournament is completed, on the evening of Sunday, 2 March 2025.

40% of the total Team Challenge Prize Pool will be awarded to the winning team, and 25% to the runners-up. The top 5 teams will be paid as follows:

  1. 40%
  2. 25%
  3. 15%
  4. 10%
  5. 10%

of the total Team Challenge Prize Pool.

Players will receive one (1) point for every Kings of Tallinn 2025 ranking event they participate in (excluding satellites, online events, and the Ladies Event). Additional points are earned by cashing in events and making money. Please note that re-entries do not reward additional points.

In the case of a deal, all players involved in the deal will receive Team Challenge ranking points based on the officially announced prize money of the lowest place involved. For example, if the last three remaining players in the tournament decide to split the prize money for the top three places, they will all receive points based on the amount of the officially announced third-place prize money, regardless of the actual final payouts.

Example of Team Points calculating:

Buy-in: €315 + €35
Unique Entries: 210
Re-entries: 80
Total Prize Pool: 290 x €315 = €91,350

Calculating the winner’s points, when the winner received €18,270:

  • Total prize pool: €91,350
  • Divided by the number of unique players (210): €91,350 ÷ 210 = €435
  • Amount won: €18,270 ÷ €435 = 42

This player will receive 42 points + 1 participation point

The buy-in size used for awarding ranking points in multiple buy-in tournaments (rebuy and re-entry events) will be calculated using the average actual buy-in amount of all players who entered the tournament (prize pool divided by the number of players).

Players also receive 1 point for every ranking event they participate in. Re-entries or rebuys do not reward additional points.

Example

Buy-In: €315 + €35
Unique Entries: 210
Re-entries: 80

Total Prize Pool: 290 x €315 = €91,350

Calculating winner’s points, when winner received €18,270:

prize pool total €91,350 divided by the unique player number

(210 in this example)

€91,350:210 = 435

Amount won: €18,270

€18,270:435 = 42

This player will receive 42 points + 1 participation point

  • Deals: all players involved in a deal get points according to the worst position. i.e., if the last two players make a deal, both get points according to second place.
  • Players receive 1 point for every ranking event they play. Any re-entry or rebuy made do not reward additional points.
Eating & Drinking

Key Tournament Rules

All tournaments operate under TDA rules, Tournament Director’s discretion may apply.

  • Speak English only when anyone at your table has cards.
  • The player who made the last aggressive action shows first. If no aggressive action occurs, the next player from the button shows first. For all-ins and calls, all involved players must show their hands.
  • Calling for a clock: time is given by floor person or tournament director if the request is deemed reasonable. The default time limit is 30 seconds, but Tournament Director’s discretion may apply.
  • To have a live hand, players must be in their seats when the last card is dealt to all players on the initial deal. Players not at their seat in time may not look at their cards and the hand is dead.
  • The Tournament Director and Floor Personnel must prioritize the best interest of the game and fairness in the decision-making process. Unusual circumstances may sometimes require that decisions in the interest of fairness take priority over technical regulations. The decisions of the Tournament Director and/or Floor Personnel are final.
  • If you have any questions, our friendly staff is always happy to assist you.
