General Team Challenge Rules
Team registration closes on Friday, 13 February at 12:00 local time. Please note that to receive points, the team must be registered before the respective event starts. The only exception is the Kings of Tallinn 2026 Main Event, where team registration closes on Friday, 13th February at 12:00 local time.
All four team members must play a minimum of one Kings of Tallinn 2026 tournament to be eligible for prizes.
The points of all four team members will be added together, and the team with the highest total will be declared the winner of the Kings of Tallinn 2026 Team Challenge.
The winning team will be announced on Monday, 16 February, after the final Kings of Tallinn 2026 tournament has been completed and all points have been verified.
Team Challenge points are awarded for tournament participation (attendance points) and cash finishes (cash points). Satellite events, re-entries, and rebuys do not earn points, while Women-only and Seniors tournaments are eligible for team points.
Players earn attendance points once per eligible tournament entered, based on the buy-in level:
Players earn additional Team Challenge points when they cash in an eligible tournament. Team Challenge points are calculated by dividing the tournament buy-in amount (excluding fees) by the prize money earned from that tournament.
Example
Deals: all players involved in a deal receive points according to the lowest finishing position. In example if the last two players make a deal, both get points according to second place.
In the case of a deal or prize money redistribution, all involved players receive Team Challenge points based on the lowest finishing position in the deal, regardless of the actual or privately agreed-upon payouts.
The Team Challenge Prize Pool shall be distributed among the top seven (7) ranked teams as follows:
Players who have not taken their seats within 5 minutes after end of late registration will be un-registered from the tournament in question and will not receive team points. Online events, satellites, rebuys and/ or re-entries do not reward team points.
