The first of three The Festival Weekends powered by OlyBet Poker has wrapped, with four days of action in Vilnius producing a dozen trophy winners, including three crowned on the final day.
Lithuania’s Gerardas Lukšėnas captured the headline victory, defeating fellow countryman Liutauras Armanavičius heads-up in the €555 NLH Main Event Progressive Knockout. Both players secured €7,905 plus bounties, with Lukšėnas collecting the final, decisive knockout to seal the title.
Albertas Voišnarovič also gave the home crowd something to cheer about on Sunday, overcoming Luxembourg’s Quinten Spyckerelle heads-up to win the €350 T.O.R.S.E.S. Mixed Main Event for €2,603.
Meanwhile, The Festival Series founder Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk endured a frustrating run on the felt without a cash in his own festival, but salvaged his week in style by taking down the closing €150 Baby T.O.R.S.E.S. Extreme for €1,282.

New Gold Standard for Gerardas Lukšėnas After Main Event Victory

Lithuania’s Gerardas Lukšėnas earned tons of cashes and even a trophy at Olympic Casino Lietuva, where he is one of the charismatic local players. His The Hendon Mob profile will now show a new all-time high after defeating the formidable Liutauras Armanavičius heads-up to win the €555 NLH Main Event Progressive Knockout for €7,905.
Eight final table players came back on the third and final day out of the 159-entry-strong field to play for a lion’s share of the €43,725 prize pool, with many players with built-up progressive bounties. Germany’s Marc Gork also finished on the podium in third place, with the rest of the final table being a healthy mix of familiar faces between The Festival Series and OlyBet Events in Peter Bergman, Raymond de Groot, and Jari Hurri, and local players in two-time WSOP Circuit winner Kęstutis Jungevičius and Sigitas Raila, who also enjoy OlyBet Events outside of Vilnius.
Congrats to Lukšėnas for his epic victory and entering The Festival Weekend history books as the first-ever Main Event champion.

Franke Saves His Festival

This author noted to Franke early Sunday morning that his name was notably missing from all of the recaps despite actively playing and enjoying the famous The Festival Series hospitality package and everything the majestic Lithuanian capital of Vilnius has to offer.
There was still one final chance by the time Franke made his way to the casino, and he made the most of it by winning the €150 Baby T.O.R.S.E.S. Supreme for €1,282. While this likely didn’t make up for all the buy-ins during the week, it did bring Franke a trophy and kudos from the mixed game community about his latest trophy, as he has been on quite the run this year.
The event itself got people out of the nice weather and the ongoing Pink Soup Festival and into battle, with 29 entries creating a €3,582 prize pool.

Two More Festival Weekends Up Next Powered By OlyBet Poker
Whether you had fun in Vilnius or missed out on the epic weekend, don’t fret, as the fun isn’t over with two more The Festival Weekends, powered by OlyBet Poker, still to come in the other two Baltic capitals.
Tallinn is up next, as OlyBet’s live poker schedule includes a Festival Weekend stop from July 1–5, 2026 at Olympic Park Casino. Positioned between the other Baltic stops, Estonia serves as the second leg of the run and is expected to carry forward the energy built in Vilnius.
The series wraps up in Riga later in the year, with The Festival Weekend Riga set for September 10–13, 2026. Although it comes well after the earlier stops, it completes the Baltic circuit and offers players another key live poker destination in the Latvian capital.
