The 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius capped off a fantastic first weekend with Sunday’s second day awarding three players trophies at Olympic Casino Lietuva.
Latvia’s Dmitrijs Mihejevs earned the first trophy in a multi-day event after defeating Svajūnas Šeduikis in the two-day €250 NLH Opening Event for €5,486 as part of a four-way deal involving Marek Žigel and Finnish flag hunter Jari Hurri, who has already shared he would be off to his next destination after earning his coveted Lithuanian flag.
While many new people are continuing to file in, Hurri wasn’t the only player we said goodbye to as poker.pro’s Glenn Brown planned an early trip just before heading to Vegas with the Redtooth Poker community to run the prestigious VEGAS100 event.
Lithuania’s were blanked from trophies the first two events of the festival but came storming back on Sunday to even up the scorecard to two for Lithuania and two from other countries.
Lithuania’s Kęstutis Jungevičius, who was fresh off a final table at the EPT Monte Carlo Main Event, shipped the one-day €350 NLH Progressive Bounty for €3,810. Jungevičius has been on a tear this year with his year beginning after shipping the 2025 Kings of Tallinn €5,000 NLH High Roller for €90,850.
Lithuania’s Žydrūnas Karčemarskas earned the final title of the evening after defeating Mykolas Jasaitis heads-up to win the €150 PLO4/PLO5 for €2,074.
There is still plenty of time to battle in what promises to be a memorable OlyBet Showdown Vilnius from May 17-25 with 30 action-packed events. While this might be short notice for a last minute plan, OlyBet is thrilled to announce the return of the third WSOP Circuit Tallinn on July 25 to August 3 at Olympic Park Casino.

Latvia’s Dmitrijs Mihejevs made the most of his trip early in the festival after winning the €250 NLH Opening Event for €5,486.
The event attracted 149 entries to create a €31,141 prize pool with players already deep in the money when the second and final table began.

Marek Žigel hit the rail in fourth place before Jari Hurri’s dreams of his first cash in Lithuania coming in the form of a trophy went into flames after his ace-eight was unable to hold against Mihejevs’s king-jack.
Svajūnas Šeduikis kept Lithuania’s hopes alive in keeping the trophy in Lithuania but he fell one player short of the trophy to award Latvia its first trophy of the festival instead.
