Bittersweet goodbyes with the knowledge that paths will likely cross again were shared as the final curtain came down with two final trophy winners at the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Spring Edition at Olympic Voodoo Casino.
Latvia’s Viktors Čaikins wasn’t satisfied enough with his ninth-place finish in the €1,100 Main Event on Saturday for €4,010 and immediately entered the two-day €350 NLH Mystery Bounty. He bested a field of 80 entries to win €7,470, including €4,000 in bounties. Finland’s Ville Keranen didn’t win the trophy, but was the largest money winner in the event after collecting €6,750 in bounties, along with the third-place prize of €1,620, for a total of €8,370. Like Čaikins, Keranen busted from the €1,100 Main Event final table in fifth place for €10,160 just before entering the €350 NLH Mystery Bounty to cap off a fantastic final weekend.
Meanwhile, Eric Wasylenko, also known as simply “Wasy,” left his stamp on the final day as the Canadian earned his second trophy of the festival. He, in fact, bookended the festival by winning the first event in the €250 NLH Opener for €7,060 before winning the final event on Sunday in the €250 NLH DeepStack Closing Event for €2,530.

Viktors Čaikins Wins €350 NLH Mystery Bounty

The two-day €350 NLH Mystery Bounty attracted 80 runners, creating €23,560 in prizes, including €12,000 reserved for the final day’s mystery bounties after players were already in the money.
Despite finishing in third place, Finland’s Ville Keranen was the biggest winner after collecting €6,750 in mystery bounties to bring his total haul up to €8,370.
The trophy was then guaranteed to stay on home soil, with two Latvian poker beasts battling for supremacy: Viktors Čaikins and Jānis Veļķeris. Čaikins earned the trophy and took home a final haul of €7,470, while Veļķeris earned €3,560 for his impressive runner-up performance.
