Kyösti Isberg Leads Final 17 in OlyBet Showdown Tallinn €1,100 Main Event
Kyosti Isberg

Friday brought tons of new thrills and action at the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Tallinn, setting the stage for Saturday’s climax of the OlyBet Showdown Tallinn €1,100 Main Event at Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Tallinn Park.

The action moves downstairs to the casino floor for the final weekend, with a tremendous buzz and a packed house expected on Saturday.

The €1,100 Main Event blossomed to 210 entries, including 61 entries during the opening levels of Friday’s Day 2 while late registration remained open, creating a €199,950 prize pool. You can follow the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Tallinn Main Event updates throughout the day in Estonian at jokker.ee, which will be live reporting the event until a winner is crowned on Saturday evening.

Finland’s Kyösti Isberg leads the final 17 players when the action resumes for the final day on Saturday at Noon, with players already locking up €2,975, with their eyes on the trophy and the €42,685 top prize.

Meanwhile, three players earned trophies on Saturday. Germany’s Natascha Stamm dazzled experienced Sviten Special players by winning the €200 PL Sviten for €2,318. This author also takes pride in Stamm’s victory. Stamm was getting ready for a cash game session when this author enquired about Sviten being included in the PLO mix. While this didn’t happen, Stamm was curious about the game, which I gladly explained. Fast forward two days, and she will go home a champion, with a memory to last a lifetime.

Lithuania’s Simonas Tuska won the title in the €555 NLH Progressive Bounty for €2,880 plus bounties, while Estonia’s Alger Pissarev, who won the €250 NLH OlyBet Win TV Superlive to start the festival, won his second trophy this festival after shipping the #38 €200 PLO5 Progressive Bounty Turbo for €980 plus bounties.

Kyösti Isberg Leads Main Event

The 2026 OlyBet Showdown Tallinn €1,100 Main Event played deep into the money on Friday, witnessing the 210-entry field whittled down to just 17 hopefuls after 10 levels of one hour each.

The top 27 players locked in €2,250, with three pay jumps already taking place, with all returning players already securing €2,950, with much more to play for.

Finland’s Kyösti Isberg has been battling in Tallinn for many years and has found some success, including a side-event trophy victory at the 2016 Kings of Tallinn. While there is still plenty of play, if Isberg is able to close things out, it would be his first recorded victory in more than a decade at The Hendon Mob.

Many other formidable players will have other plans, including Janis Apinis (1,390,000), Finnish side-event winner Andreas Backlund (1,051,000), Poland’s Mateusz Dabkowski (1,010,000), and Finland poker veteran Jukka Juvonen (899,000). Friends of poker pro in Sweden’s Kristoffer Winterstein (655,000) and Lithuania’s Albert Ostrovskij (452,000) are among the players with short stacks to keep your eyes on.

Meanwhile, the local contingent boasts two hometown players, although one needs a major Cinderella story to become the champion on Saturday, with Dmitri Dudakov sitting on a seven big blind stack of 110,000. Estonia’s Martin Keskküla is in a better spot with a 39 big blind stack of 581,000.

You can follow along with the action in Estonian at jokker.ee. While the focus will mostly be on the Estonian players, there will be tidbits from the international field throughout the day. We recommend using a translator if Estonian isn’t your main language to get the gist of the reporting.

Natascha Stamm Wins €200 PL Sviten

Natascha Stamm

The €200 PL Sviten attracted 32 entries, creating a €5,168 prize pool. The poker.pro and OlyBet Showdown Tallinn host Glenn Brown was on his fourth straight final table in mixed games. Considering that, until recently, his focus was solely on two-card poker, this could have been a bigger story if he had won the event.

However, it was the first time Sviten player Natascha Stamm won the event, taking home €2,318. In addition to shattering Brown’s dreams by eliminating him at the final table, Stamm, apologetically, eliminated this author, allowing the student to become the master after teaching Stamm the rules and basic strategy on Wednesday evening.

Tuska defeated his opponent to win the trophy and the large final bounty, to add his name to the OlyBet Showdown Tallinn history books.

Estonia’s Alger Pissarev and Finland’s Anne Bezdek faced off heads-up with €980 already banked. Pissarov denied Bezdek her first trophy of the festival, while earning a second trophy himself after defeating his opponent to win the final bounty and bragging rights.
