Paulius Kisielius Wins OlyBet Showdown Vilnius €555 NLH Championship
Paulius Kisielius

Three more trophies were awarded at Olympic Casino Lietuva as the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius heads into its final weekend, with the biggest stories still to unfold.

Hometown hero Paulius Kisielius stole the spotlight, capturing his first recorded live poker title according to The Hendon Mob in dramatic fashion. Kisielius battled back from behind to defeat fellow Lithuanian Andrej Sidinevskij heads-up in the three-day €555 NLH Championship. The duo agreed to an even chop of €14,000 while leaving €3,100 and the trophy still in play. Kisielius finished the job to claim the title and the €17,100 top prize.

Elsewhere, Belarus’s Valiantsin Hrynko came out on top in the €200 NLH, banking €2,423, while Lithuania’s Rapolas Bielskis shipped the €250 NLH Progressive Knockout for €1,218 plus bounties.

Meanwhile, Lithuania’s Albert Ostrovskij is once again in contention, leading the 45 survivors from a 98-entry field after three opening flights of the €1,100 Main Event. Late registration remains open through the first two 60-minute levels on Day 2, meaning the field is expected to grow further when play resumes at noon.

Ostrovskij has been a consistent force across the OlyBet Showdown stops this year, having played all three €1,100 Main Events in the Baltic capitals. He finished sixth at the OlyBet Showdown Voodoo Riga Spring Edition Main Event for €7,910 in March, then narrowly missed the final table at the OlyBet Showdown Tallinn Main Event with a 10th-place finish worth €4,260 in April. Now, he has a strong chance to complete the trilogy with a deep run and potentially a title on home soil in Vilnius.

Meanwhile, the OlyBet Showdown Voodoo Riga Spring Edition champion Justas Vaičiulionis and three-time WSOP Circuit champion Kęstutis Jungevičius are also in the top 10, setting the stage in what promises to be an exciting two days of action until the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius €1,100 Main Event winner is crowned.

Paulius Kisielius Earns First Live Trophy in 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius €555 NLH Championship

Paulius Kisielius tasted the pain of a runner-up finish in the Kings of Vilnius Main Event in November 2025, and although the blow was softened by a career-best score of €47,630, secured after a heads-up deal with the eventual champion, Mantas Bagocius, the Lithuanian has nursed a burning desire to go one better since.

On Thursday, Kisielius got his wish as he emerged as the last player standing in the 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius €555 NLH Championship, live reported on poker.pro, from a Day 3 field of nine, to finally get his hands on a live trophy.

Another heads-up deal came into play when the 169-entry field was reduced to its final duo, after Andrej Sidinevskij eliminated short-stack Robertas Visockas in third.

Despite holding a more than 2:1 lead over Kisielius, Sidinevskij was content to agree a chop of €14,000, with only the destination of the trophy and the final €3,100 of the €80,275 prize pool still to be determined by the heads-up contest. Kisielius quickly turned the deficit around, and the end came when he had his opponent drawing dead on the turn with two pair.

Winner’s Reaction

Kisielius was surprised by the deal, saying, “Yeah, it was a bit of a strange agreement. I definitely didn’t expect it. He was tired after three days of playing, I think, although today had been quick. It was a tough field, got a bit lucky at certain points, but yeh it all ended well.

“I’m really happy because it’s my first trophy. I’ve had some runner-ups and thirds, so I finally got it. So it’s really nice, and yeah, pleased and proud of myself.”

Kisielius would describe himself as a serious amateur and maintains that, despite his recent successes, his business commitments do not allow him time to pursue the game in a more serious capacity. He fully intends to play whenever he can, however, and as a regular at OlyBet events in Vilnius, he is thinking about spreading his wings further afield and joining the action in Riga and Tallinn.

“I play for fun, and it’s good to compete against strong players. You can win; many are stronger than me, but you can win if you try. I will probably get to Tallinn; it’s difficult to take too much time away, but any time I can, you’ll see me!”

Final Day Recap

Ville Keranen started the day with a decent lead over Sigitas Raila and Sidinevskij, while the champion was sitting in the middle of the pack.

Kisielius got moving early, after being on the right end of an aces versus queens cooler against Onni Harmaala. The Finn was left short and was the first casualty of the final table shortly after, falling to Sidinevskij.

The final duo tangled in a big four-bet pot, which went Sidinevskij’s way following a jam over Kisielius’ flop lead, to send him to the top of the standings. Algirdas Saveikis was now the short-stack, and he hit the wall when he ran into Visockas’ ace-king to lose a flip.

Alex Heinonen had less than ten bigs when he jammed the small blind with a weak ace, but ran into Visockas’ pocket nines to exit in seventh. The champion had now become relatively short, but he doubled in crucial fashion with a dominating ace against Visockas.

Robertas Visockas

Raila proceeded to pick up rockets at the perfect time, ending up in a three-way all-in situation with Keranen and Sidinevskij, both of whom had decent hands, but which proved to be no match for the strongest of pocket pairs, sending Keranen to the rail in sixth.

Kisielius picked up crucial chips when he check-jammed the turn in a chunky three-way pot to take it down unopposed, before Tomas Kovalenka came off worst in a flip versus Raila in a big blind versus button scenario, to reduce the field to four.

A huge cooler erupted between the chip leaders, Raila and Sidinevskij, in what proved to be the key hand of the tournament prior to the deal. In an under-the-gun versus big blind spot, Sidinevskij four-bet jammed with aces and was snapped by Raila’s jacks. There was no escape for Raila, who was left with dust, and was finished off in fourth by Sidinevskij in the next hand.

Sigitas Raila

Visockas was next to go, after jamming his short-stack from the small blind into Sidinevskij’s stronger ace, and it appeared the stage was set for a heads-up contest between Sidinevskij and Kisielius, Sidinevskij holding a more than 2:1 advantage.

However, the heads-up deal was swiftly agreed, and Kisielius quickly reversed the position to get his hands on the trophy and final portion of the prize pool, securing a handsome €17,100 payday.

Valiantsin Hrynko Wins €200 NLH

The €200 NLH attracted 42 entries, creating a €6,783 prize pool, with the top five players earning at least a €610 min-cash, nearly triple the buy-in.

The trophy was guaranteed to leave home soil after Lithuania’s Robertas Viscokas hit the rail in third place for €1,220. Valiantsin Hrynko earned the trophy and the top prize after defeating Finland’s Khai Kiet Duong (second – €1,700) during the heads-up action.

Rapolas Bielskis Wins €250 NLH Progressive Knockout

The €250 NLH Progressive Knockout witnessed a field of 34 entries generate €7,106 in prizes, including €3,400 in bounties.

Lithuania got back on the board and went two for three for trophies on Thursday after Rapolas Bielskis denied Ville Keranen a second trophy this festival during the heads-up action. Both players earned the €1,218 top prize from the prize pool, with Bielskis earning the final big bounty and the coveted trophy.
