Are you getting excited yet? The inaugural World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) is just weeks away at Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Tallinn Park from Sept. 14-24.
Many players were already salivating about the WSOPC visiting Tallinn for the first time with the 12 WSOP gold rings on tap. However, this is not all as we are thrilled to announce this is just the beginning with 40 side events for a total of 52 events across 11 days of what promises to be the biggest poker festival in Baltic poker history.
The side event schedule perfectly complements the ring schedule providing something for everyone with approximately five events per day on average. You can get into the action regardless of your poker budget with event buy-ins ranging from €150 to €3,000. Of course, you will have plenty of opportunities to get in even cheaper with satellites littered throughout the schedule including a freeroll guaranteeing five seats to the €150 Queens of Tallinn Ladies Only event.
The WSOPC Tallinn €1,500 Main Event is easily the crown jewel of the festival with a €1 million guarantee, representing the largest in Estonian history. The event will already be the third largest in Estonian history and the largest in more than a decade when the first cards are dealt during the first of four opening flights on Sept. 19 with only the EPT Tallinn and the EPT Copenhagen Main Events paying out seven figures.
It isn’t just the ring events to keep your eyes on as each day features no-limit hold’em tournaments in a variety of formats including single and multiday events, knockouts, and mystery bounties. The €555 Seniors Event (50 years+) is a new one for those who attended the Kings of Tallinn (KOT) and the KOT Summer Showdown.
Mixed game lovers are also in for a treat as international tournament director Teresa Nousiainen included a plethora of mixed games starting off with the €150 OFC on the opening day on Sept. 14 with a second €350 event taking place two days later on Sept. 16. This is just the beginning for mixed-game enthusiasts as the schedule boasts numbered side events in Deuce to Seven, Sviten Special, H.O.R.S.E., 8-Game, Soko (Finnish Five Card Stud) and Omaha.
All this is on top of the cash games at stakes low and high running around the clock across a wide variety of poker variants.
